i read the other posts. the way i am different is mine only happens every year or so. different times of the year. same conditions. i go to work and after an hour or so, my energy level goes to zero. i can barely stand up. no warning. slight light headedness. everytime, i go to the doctor who sends me to the e.r. where they do ekgs and eegs and blood tests out the wazoo. then they say everything is normal except me. sometimes the next day i am back to normal and sometimes it may take a day or two. i am type 2 diabetic, high bp, depression, sleep apnea or in other words- a walking med book. none of my numbers change, just my energy level. any ideas?

  • I imagine you need to eat a really really good breakfast. Seems like two serious conditions, the diabetes and blood pressure working against each other...maybe the meds??? Can you drink a half cup of coffee or is that too much of a sugar shock for your system?

  • Well, there should be a pattern in there somewhere - how many years have you been suffering this pattern? How long have you been diagnosed with HTN and DM2? Can you think back last year and see what events were happening prior to your last episode? If this is only happening once a year it may be hard to find a pattern, but if you can write down when it happens and try to trace back a week or two you may find something. My last question is what meds are you currently taking?DOM
