Hi, I wasn't sure where to post this because I have so many things goin on roght now....:(

II am starting to wonder if my Ulnar entrapment surgery was a failure? The surgery was last October. I have had on and off puffiness and tenderness in that elbow since surgery. The other day while working out, I started having this sharp pain right in the area of the elbow where the surgery took place, basically where the Ulnar nerve runs. Now, my elbow hurts at that spot when I flex or extend the arm. The pain is felt when the elbow is at a half way point or a 45 degree angle and feels like the nerve or something is hitting a bone or something. Hard to explain but that is how it feels ever since the other day.

I am going to set an appointment with the surgeon but I am afraid they won't listen or believe this...

  • It can take a very long time to recuperate from surgery, no matter what kind. Maybe your workouts are too hard...?

  • Yes, but why would it have continued to get better till then one day, wam....hurts like ***l and I can see the nerve bumping over the bone when bending the elbow. Could it have slipped back or in an awkward place? I made ana ppointment to see the surgeon. Heck, my shoulder reconstruction was better than this! aybe that is what i get for going to a plastic/reconstructive surgeon and not an orthopedic. Maybe I should go straight to an orthopedic I saw before. I wish the guy who did my should would look at my elbow.
