hey,
my name is mike, im 19 and ive been having this issue with my face for my whole life. iv seen a dermatologist about it and in the end nothing came of it. i dont have rosacea but my face is red. basically my deep capillaries in my cheeks are always open and make my face look redish (not superficial veins or capillaries). when i get embarrassed or really hot, my face just fills with blood and i light up like a candle. my question is what can i do about my cheeks? can i block the veins feeding my cheeks? or are there other methods that can help me?

  • Hi Mike. My mother, son & I all have a similar issue. My mother was told it was because we don't sweat enough so our face gets red; however, my son doesn't seem to have problems sweating. The only thing I have found to help any of us is good skin care. And I don't mean just washing your face with soap & water (which is what we were doing). We are now using actual face wash, balancing toner and mositurizer (except my son - he stops at the face wash). My redness has almost all gone away (providing I use everything as I'm supposed to). But my son's doesn't totally go away, although it has faded signifcantly. Good Luck in your quest!

  • Some facial lotions are advertising that they reduce redness in the skin. Aveeno for one.

  • Hey,It sounds to me like a yeast allergy. If you want to get serious I did the following to remove all symtoms..1. No Bread / Beer - Yeast caused my face to go Red2. No sugar - I think my body need some recovery time (Read Liver rested)3. No Dairy - This is a common cause of allergy. This has fixed several people I know including myself. If you really want to be ******n yourself no carbohydrates for a month as well your energy level will increase as a side benifitMake sure u post the results so I know it resolves the issue
