Hello, my 11 year old daughter has been experiencing facial swelling as well as swollen feet, ankles, hands and wrists. This began 6/09 and she was treated with prednisone and put on zyrtec for environmental allergies. The swelling diminished temporarily, but has returned full force and she is miserable--she has gained 6 lbs from June to present and says her hands and feet hurt. She's had blood tests and all came back ok. She has an appt. with an allergist in 2 weeks. Has anyone heard of anything like this? I'm worried it's more than allergies and I'm overlooking something that the doctors need to know. Any help would be greatly appreciated--thank you.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
