I've been looking in this site for about half an hour and I can't find my symptom.
Apparently, my eyes do not close all the way. When I attempt to, I put effort into closing my eyes and keeping them shut. People I know confirm that they can still see some part of my eye (sometimes even part of the cornea). When I try to go to sleep, I have to lean one eye on a pillow so that the pillow lightly holds it closed. Blindfolds and other head/eyegear that are too close to my eyes, eyelashes, or forehead bother me. Is there a name for this? Is there some way to fix this? I fear that my insomnia may stem from this. I have trouble getting to sleep every night, and seldom do I go the night without sleeping.
