I desperately need some advice or input on why my knee is as swollen as it is after having a TKR in early March 2014. This is the 2nd TKR I have had on the same knee and the swelling is tremendous and is showing no signs of going down. My first TKR was in Feb 2012 and the knee was swollen afterwards but not to the extent it is now. I used a different Ortho Surgeon for this 2nd one who comes highly recommended. He has done everything possible to find a solution to the bleeding but to no avail. An expert hematologist has also been brought in and she has done every test imaginable and they have all come back negative. I am a 65 year old active male who was in good health until I had the first TKR. I desperately need some advice concerning my condition.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
