Hi, I am 18. I have extremely dry hands. I have been to several doctors and they have perscribed tons of steriod creams, nifedipine, amlodipine (sp?), and lots of other hand creams...nothing works! They dont have any answers. Lotions dont even make a dent. They are so dry they crack, bleed, and swell because of all the tiny cuts. They are really red, and the skin condition stops with a VERY distinct line at my wrists. I have no other skin conditions anywhere else. The doctors think I have Raynauds Disease too, but dont think this skin condition is connected. The only time it ever clears up is when Im on vacation (no matter what the weather is like)...very strange. Please help me, this is exreamly painful and embarrasing when people ask about it.
I have no alergies, or medical conditions. Thank you so much!
