So, I went to the hospital one night for extreme stomach pain and finding something foreign in my stool. It was this white foamy, stringy thing. Also some potential dark red blood in my stool. They CT scanned me and found I had gall stones and a swollen colon. I went to my regular doctor to talk to her about it and she's referring me to a GI but they can't get me in for a long time and it's getting worse. So, I was wondering if someone could potentially help me figure out what's going on. I haven't been regular for a long time now. I go to the bathroom maybe once or twice a week, if that. Sometimes, with pain in my abdomen. Now, I'm getting very extreme pain a couple times a day. I relate it to contractions from when I had my daughter. It's that severe. I'll go to the bathroom and pass barely anything, the pain will ease for a few hours and I'm okay. But I'm noticing dark red tint to my stool sometimes. Also, during this extreme pain and sometimes in between the bouts of pain, I'm getting nauseous. I'm concerned. I've never had this sort of pain, aside from when I gave birth. I'm only 21 and there is a history of cancer in my family, although nothing GI related. Anyone have any idea what would cause these symptoms? I'm also extremely fatigued and my hair is falling out in huge clumps. Please, someone give me something!Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
