This is for my husband - he has always had migraines and cluster headaches where he had to sit in the dark and would throw up before he felt better. Now though their is an added symptom of a sweet taste in his mouth and the cluster headaches had all but disappeared and after 10 or so years they are back now with this new symptom. The doctors only want to put him on meds that have side effects of death, not what he wants to try. He gets relief now by washing his head under the tub faucet with hot water, then he will throw up again and sleep it off and be fine the next day. But he wants to know if anyone has an idea what the sweet taste in the mouth might indicate since this is new.
I appreciate any info. I can't get him to get in the dang car and go to the doctor so short of calling 911 which I will do if he gets worse I am stuck with a stubborn husband who is very sick.:(
So while I hack and cough with no answers he will sit in the dark and throw up. Don't we make a wonderful pair, aging wasn't supposed to be this strange.:)
