ASked this on various forums to no avail.

Suffer from excessive hunger pangs relieved
when eating high protein such as lamb. Fish, eggs
etc does not help. Hunger pangs are worsening, to such
a degree that I am now waking up early morning at about
4:30 to eat!!

Worse during morning wakes. Always with arrythmia
till I eat.

Those hunger pangs are very severe, leading to dizziness,
and discomfort. Accompanied with arrythmias such as SVT,
AF and will have holter again on Friday.

Serum glucose fasting and non fasting are normal
(who knows could be diabetes but then those tests are normal)
No h pylori

Suffer from subclinical hypothryoidism
Heart failure as in LVF, systolic and diastolic
(not worsening)
Micotchondrial dysfunction
And other non related illness and symptoms

I take no medications, unable to metabolize
and allergies. NO vits and supps, no herbs

Thanks for the input.

  • I've been reading a lot about mitochondrial disorders and one of the things that I read is that with some of them people need more b vitamins than usual. Meat products are higher in b vitamins, maybe you're craving them because your body really needs them? Also, I read that because of the dysfunction in the mitochondria, many people with those disorders need to eat more often then regular people, even in the middle of the night. Since I don't know what specific disorder you have, I don't really know, but if I were you I would ask the doctor if you need extra b vitamins or should just be on a schedule where you wake up to eat at night. I found a good website, I think it's the United Mitochondrial Disorder Foundation (?), that might be helpful.
