Hey all--stumbled upon this site on google trying to find a clue as to what exactly my mom is struggling with. For a while now, she has been much fatigued. She is up 2-3 times a night and can't seem to get through the night--this causes her to be even more fatigued during the day.
She had what felt like heartburn for a few weeks and then one night the pain was tremendous and she ended up being taken to the hospital. Her liver enzymes are elevated and the part of her blood (I think called PTT???) isn't functioning properly--they said its not at the point where it is a huge problem but the point is, no one seems to be sure why this is all happening. She is mid-fifties and over all very healthy--speed walks every day, etc...
Has this happened to anyone or does anyone have an idea as to what could be the cause? Its much appreciated.
