My girlfriend/future wife has been experiencing this problem since she was 16. she is now 39. What happens is she gets turned off by even the smell of food causing her stomach to turn and get gassy, and when she does eat, many foods cause her stomach to get very upset and gassy. This is every day but somewhat manageable but awful, and she can never enjoy a meal. She has had her gaul bladder removed, had all the tests run but of course they found nothing. Of course she has been diagnosed with IBS. which is what they give everyone that they have no idea what the ***l that patient has. Living her life like this sux. It cant be nothing.....

The worst part flares up prob once a year or more where the pain is so intense that it causes vomiting and it will not stop. She is doubled over in pain and dry heaving, wretched in pain squirming and twisting herself around and it always ends up with a trip to the hospital. She will usually be there overnight vomiting the entire time until with gravol, iv, and Demerol they can stop the pain, then the vomiting. Pnce th epain can be controlled she finds the vomiting subsides. Its a pain first deal.

It is awful to see her like that and breaks my heart. I want to help her, please help us!:(
