esophagus spasm?

Is it possible to have a spasm in your esophagus? I have upper right quadrant abdominal pain everyday, moving into my back. Belching, passing gas, bowel movement, does not provide relief. Deep tissue massage does provide some relief, but pain/cramping, returns withing 15 minutes. I had my gall bladder out 2 months ago; I felt better for about a week, but I was in bed all that week. I also have a fullness or pulling sensation in the front of my throat, around my voicebox. You would not believe the number of times I belch during the day. Both a colon-scope and endoscopy were clean as a whistle. Negative for h-pylori. Elevated liver enzyme (alk phosphatas). Needle biopsy of liver during gall bladder surgery showed 'scattered eosinophils' and 'periportal fibrosis' and 'some rare Kupffer cells'. I have only recently recovered from secondary adrenal insufficiency caused by steroid injections.
