my daughter suffered a bad rash last week - it started as a small red circle on her thigh which looked like a nettle sting and in the space of an hour it was the size of my hand, before i knew it they were popping up all over her - face included, grew very fast and dissapeared as quick as they appeared. After 3 days of this rash appearing and dissapearing we finaly found a doctor who could give us a name for it - erythema multiforme. He told me it could have been caused by something she had eatin or touched, or if she was run down. he put my mind to rest by telling me it was nothing serious to worry about, although he would like me to hand in a sample of her urine to test for protien or blood in the urine.

So today i went to hand in the sample and for a change there was a free doc that said she could test it then for me. She then told me that my daughter had a very high sign of white cells in her urine? wot does this mean? she then asked me questions about my daughters energy - was she sleeping more? does she ever appear letheargic? and i clicked that for the past couple of weeks my daughter has been dropping of during the day which she hasn't done in a few months!

are these things linked in any way and what does the white cells in urine mean???????????
also has anyone some info on erythema multiforme?????

  • White cells in the urine means that there is some kind of infection. Try here: http://www.nlm.nih.gov/MEDLINEPLUS/ency/article/000851.htm
