I have been on the forums known as Adriesse07. I forgot my login information, and I wanted to tell everyone that over the past two months I have had strange symptoms. I have been in the ER for abdominal pain, reoccuring UTI's, abnormal period bleeding and anxiety attacks. I went to my doctor today and he told me in my blood work that I have Thyroid Disease, and he put me on medication. Was this the reason for my other symptoms?

  • Hi Adriesse, You had the hemangioma if I remeber correctly. If you thryroid problem isn't an autoimmune one, then they are most likely a result of the other things that are going on in your body. Do you know if you were tested for Anti TPO and Anti TG? Both of these tests are for antibodies that will show up it the thyroid problem is autoimmune. If not you most likely have inflammation caused by another prosses witch is not uncommon. You did say you have elevated levels of white blood cells and that is very indicative of inflammation or infection somewhere in the body. No matter what the cause thyroid problems can make life miserable and might be giving you 90% of all your symptoms. I don't know if you are hyper or hypo, so it is hard to list any symptoms here. You can try googling hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism and you will most likely be able to tell just by reading the symptoms if you are high or low. Kiera
