I have been suffering from Entamoeba Histolytica for over 2 years. As none of the medicines I tried helped, I would like to meet other patients for discussion and (mutual) help.

  • I also have had histolytica along with other parasites. I was given HUMATIN (paramomycin) the only drug I could tolerate; I believe I had this amoeba for 10 years but last time I was checked by anosopy rectal swab by Dr Cahill in NYC he didn't find it. Nevertheless I still have many of the symptoms but also have other problems so it's hard to tell if this amoeba or the other problems are causing the tenesmus, constant urge to have a bowel movement, sticky stools, balloon like sweelling in ascending colon, severe wight loss etc. Gary on the internet finally cured it I believe with a combo of Humatin and something else. My email is jengabby@live.com. If you write to me I will look up in my notes what they said. I also try other stuff; supposedly jasmine tea helps kill amoebas (lots of it over time if you can tolerate) Supposedly it kept the amoeba population down in India. E histolytica is said to be a very stubborn parasite. I am curious what your specifc symptoms are. I always feel like everything is sticking to the walls of my colon walls especially if I eat any grains. I have EMF and light sensitivity/MCS/dizziness in forehead, involuntary straining, toxicity and so on

  • I have been dealing with stomach pain, chronic nausea, abdominal cramping, diarrhea/constipation, excessive burping, bloating etc for the past 8 years. All of my problems started when I got the Helicobacter pylori infection. I did the antibiotic treatment for the H. pylori but my symptoms haven't gone away and have gotten WAY WORSE! After seeing countless doctors and specialists it was passed off as IBS. I have recently been seeing a naturopathic doctor and he did a stool sample and a saliva sample. I have had stool samples in the past but everything came back normal. This stool sample came back saying that they found the amoeba histolytica as well as some kinds of pathogenic bacteria. I am currently taking herbal remedies to try and kill these little buggers and hopefully things will turn around and I'll start to feel better.
