I was diagnosed with a bladder infection - took antibiotics but didn't feel better and got severe upper left quandrant pain under my ribs and in my back - thought for sure it had gone to my kidney. Went to emergency and they did a CT and said I have an enlarged spleen, a significant hernai, a hard stool mass in my colon - all could be causing me my pain - follow up with my family dr - here's pain meds - bye. They also said I was severly anemic. What now? I was so shocked didn't ask why is my spleen enlarged, what does this mean? Are these related things or all separate? I still have a lot of pain and see my family dr in 6 days - i called his office to make sure they get the CT report from the emerge. What should I be asking? I'm looking up my symptons and am freaking myself out. They didn't tell me anything at emerge and I was dumb enough to just say ok and leave. I figured if they are letting me go its not serious - but reading all this stuff makes me wonder..Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
