My hands have started swelling/bruising easily from routine tasks like stirring things with a fork or opening a tight lid. This usually happens at the base of the finger or thumb, hurts for about 30 min., swells for a few hours and leaves a large, light blue bruise that extends half way up the finger and around the base that lasts for days. My doctor seems perplexed. I just had a routine physical with normal results from the blood test (triglycerides were a little high, but otherwise okay). Any ideas?Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
