I know I am new here , but I am trying anything at this point. For the past 2 months both of my ears are in so much pain. It started when I had a strange case of vertigo, which has corrected itself. No fluid in the ears per the Dr's. (I have seen 3) I have been running a fever off and on. My throat is terrible. My voice comes and goes. I have night sweats. They said that the CT of just my Sinus's looked ok. I do not know what else to do. I am in so much pain I have missed work and college. I cant take it much more. My fevers run from 99.1 all the way to 101.2. I NEVER run fevers. I even developed thrush from all the antibiotics and steriods that arent working. I am a 25 year old female who should be healthy. Any help I would love forever! Please Please Please. The T3's they gave for the ear pain no longer work. What else can I do! Point my in a direction, any direction (yes still have tonsils) and I will be so greatful. Living in a painful ***l is no fun especially when I am a dispatcher for New Orleans EMS at night and I have to listen to noise at night. HELP!!!!!!!

  • You say you are a dispatcher? Does your job involve head phones? Because while looking for an answer to my own ear pain I came across something called Audio Shock. Unfortunately my ear doctor never heard of it and I can find little info. But what I read said it happened to people who wear headphones when an unexpected loud or high pitched noise came across. If you do wear head phones I would defineatly look into it. I think I may have something similar because my pain started after I had a hearing test which involved head phones.....but none of the pros can help me! If you learn anything about it could you please email me at Abbie1363@msn.com. I would greatly appreciate it!
