I had a CT Scan due to episodes of vertigo/white-outs (which I posted about ehre previously) I've been having, and they "found" a spot, roughly 3mm in size (very small!) that they've suggested might be dystrophic calcification or something else (can't remember what).... what exactly is this? Thing is, the same thing (hasn't changed in size or anything) was found in 2000 when they did a CT Scan due to episodes of white-outs. Haven;'t had the white-outs for years again until recently.
What causes this calcification? Where does it come from? What can you tell me about it?
