Hi, Im a 19 year old male college student and Im hoping someone can help me out. Heres the story:
I am an active teen who works out in the gym everyday doing all strength-building exercises. I am in decent shape, not great as far as cardio is concerned. Last friday I did a performance YMCA bike test in which i biked with increasing difficulty every 5 minutes for a total of 15 minutes. At the end of the bike test my Blood pressure was very very high and so was my pulse and I did not feel well. I got off the bike okay and was fine after that. When I got back to my room I noticed that I could not catch my breath well and I have had this feeling ever since. My chest hurts a little also at the height of my breath and sometimes when I exhale.
Is this cause for concern at such a young age? My dad and the guy I did the test for said its probably due to the over-exhertion for that biking period but I just can't justify why its been 3-4 days and still the same. Please help if you can.
