Hi - new to this post...I recently moved to Indiana, and two weeks ago while visiting my daughter in Alabama. I started seeing one item (helicopter) becoming two items then back again. The next day, I was seeing three eyes on a person!. I immediately went to my eye doctor in Al. and he took a picture of my eyes (which I have done every year since I am a diabetic) and compared it to my last five years. The doctor stated my eyes have not changed in five years and the spots on my eyes are normal for diabetics - so this double vision must be temporary because my sugar count was high, and should go back to normal when sugar level is down and normal. He also stated it was my left muscle moving causing the double vision and should clear up. That is was a temporary situation - and said if it didn't clear up to go see a doctor in Indiana.

Well my sugar is normal and I had very high level of sugar in the past, and never any problems. It has been two weeks now, and nothing has changed - I have another appt with a eye doctor here in Indiana (never been there and was recommended to see him) Wednesday to find out the "real cause". Anyone got any ideas? or even had the same problem? I have looked on the internet and there is so many things that are stated that I am getting worrried that maybe he diagnosed me wrong by suggesting wait and see if it clears up.:(
