I am a 18 year old female who has about a 2 week history of extremely bad lower abdominal/pelvic pain. In addition I had severe nausea but no vomiting with it. I have had some diarrhea that seems to be unrelated to what I eat.
Last year in February i went to the my doctor telling him the pain i had. But after i got checked he said that i was ok.. But now i started to get the same pain and its worse then before. Can someone help me??????

  • Have you been sexually active? If so, I would go to the local county free STD clinic or your university clinic if you are in school; if not, get a new doctor--you are not suppose to be in pain...

  • Well, it only takes one time. I would run it through a clinic.

  • well my pain has been intermittent. and well its in my pelvic area sometimes its on both side of the abdominal region and if its not on both side its more on the right side. i am 18 and last year i was in pain for two months. my menstruation has been normal eventhough the last time i got it i was in a lot of pain but i dont know if it was because i was stressed with my classes and it lasted two days longer but i thought that had to do with the stess too since it use to be like that for a couple of years.

Please go to a good, FEMALE gynocologist and tell her your symptoms. Could be a number of things, ovarian cyst, fibroids, endometriosis. Do you also have a lot of severe bloating? An ovarian cyst can cause this. Please find a gyno you are comfortable with and who will order an ultrasound if needed. It sounds like a gynocological problem to me. Best wishesDOM
