My daughter is 11 years old she has been healthy most of her life. When she was 8 she had ITP which consists of an extremely low blood platelet count. Doctors do not know why you get it and it goes away on its own in a few days. Since then she has not had any problems with low blood platelets. For about 6 months my daughter has been sick. She catches a cold very easy and in fact it never seems to go away. She has had several sinus infections, she has had strep throat 3 times, she has a headache almost everyday and she also has stomach aches almost everyday. I have just been thinking its the flu or a cold but now it is getting to be ridiculous! We eat healthy, exercise, she has been taking vit. C and Zinc nothing helps. Her doctor just says its a virus......about 4 months ago they said she has mononucleousis which accounts for some of the symptoms but its seems like she should be better by now.....I just dont know what to do. Her immune system just doesn't seem to fight anything off!!
Any info or ideas of what it could be would be greatly appreciated!
