the other day i noticed the bottom of my husband's foot had green and black spots. it didn't itch and it didn't hurt. i thought it was mold or some kind of fungus. so he got off the spots later that day. now today it's worse. i looked all over the web to find a reason for it and i can't find a thing. all anything says about foot fungus is scaly white/red spots with itching and discomfort... he doesn't have anything like that.
if anyone could give me some sort of idea about what may be going on i'd be so grateful.

  • Could he have some kind of infection from a break or even an ingrown toenail that could have spread? Skin changing to black or green is usually dead or dying tissue, I believe. But if its on the outside of his foot, check his shoes for mold. Is his feet in puddles or any kind of standing water throughout the day? A shoe is a nice dark damp home for mold to grow.
