About 4 weeks ago my daughter got dizzy at work and fainted, she went to the emergency room, then went to her doctor. He ordered an MRI it came back negative. Back in 2008 she had a cyst on her brain which the Doctor suctioned out the fluid, but left the sack which housed the fluid inside her brain. At times she does gets severe headaches. About 2 weeks ago she had a severe head ache and her speech went slurr. She went to the emergency room they sent her home without doing any evaluation of her symptons, and told her to go see her faimily doctor. Of course we went to a well known medical center, (the one where she had her operation) they said they didn't have a clue as to what was going on. While waiting at the hospital her left leg went limp. They admitted her to the hospital, the next day her speech became normal until about 12:00 p.m. It is still slur to this day. At times now her leg will get where she can walk normal then after awhile she will start to drag it again. The day after Thanksgiving she became dizzy, she sat down. About one hour later she was getting up to go home, was coming down the hall way got dizzy and fainted. She in the Hospital now, her speech is severly slurred, her left side is still just about paralyzed, now what ever "it" is, "it" is starting to effect her right side, and her entire left side. Still the doctors have no clue. She has had MRI'S, MRA'S, CAT SCANS, UTRAL SOUNDS, EEG'S, EKG'S, but not the PET SCAN, hopefully that is next. Can somebody please help.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
