My Husband and I and our two children 4 and 2 moved to back woods of Arkansas 11/2 years ago. I was 3 mo. pregnant, 3months later at 6 mo. I was flown to the hospital, gave birth to our third child, she weighed only 1lb 11oz she stayed in the hospital 31/2 mo. after she came home, "well and OK" I found out i was pregnant again, and at 5 months pregnant, I was told this baby would also be premature.
At 6mo. I was flown again to the hopital, gave birth to our now fourth child, she also weighed 1lb11oz. she stayed in the hospital 3mo. Shortly after I came home I started developing flu-like body aches 3 mo. later I developed pain in my chest {it seemed like it was coming from my esophagues} then several weeks later the middle of my back was herting {this felt like I was beaten by a two by four from the inside out}.
So here I have 3 symptoms going on at the same time and getting worse, I went to the Doctor early January 2007 I had blood testing, a sonigram on all the organs, chest X-Ray, stomach X-Ray, and we still have no clue. now' along with the other symptoms, I developed burning pains in my breasts, dermatitis on my scalp, red bloches on my face, tiny blisters coming up some times on my chest, and spots of pain on both sides under my rib cage, and the Doctors still have no clue. The worse pain I'm dealing with is this darn flu-like body aches and the spine pain. I can't go on like this, I have 4 children under 5 years two of which are preemie babies. Some one please help me to find out what this is!

After 2 pregnancies and deliveries so closed together I see how your body has not had a chance to balance it reserves of nutrients. I bet with your duties as a Mom, you don't have a whole lot of time to yourself. You might have caught a bug but you don't show any typical signs of infection because your body might be too weak to even produce a fever.I would recommend you to read the book "Never Be Sick Again", but Right now you might be too sick to do that. So I would strongly recommend you to take a high quality vitamin/ mineral supplement. The one I recommend you is the Beyond Health Brand, from beyondhealth dot come. It is actually $85 but it contains 180 pills. You need 2 to 4 a day- It contains to chemical, no toxins, no heavy metals, it is the best vitamin. It is guaranteed that your body will absorb it. You do have lots of signs of Mineral deficiency. You need food to support your immune system and lots of vitamin B complex. You also need a spoon of Cod Liver Oil. Carlson is the best brand and you can buy it at most health stores, and Flax Oil. I am not going to question your diet but I do know that the average American women Lacks Omega 3 Fatty Acids, which are essential for overall good health. Please do not rely on cereals, grains, breads, milk or sugar for optimum health. They do not really feed us. Try tons of fruit, leafy greens, fermented soy products, fish, some lamb, avocado, cucumbers, squash, some legumes like lentils and split pea.I am aware that most people resist this advice because it sounds so unorthodox. At this point it comes from a person who was bed ridden with no hope and no help from the doctors. I was so desperate to get out of my misery, so I had to open up to a World of new thinking in order to get better.Try a Doctor of Oriental Medicine- this can really help with pain and balancing your whole body.Take Care.Eatafruit78.Arlington, VA

  • Hello, I developed flu like symtoms after I came home with my baby, it turned out that they had left a little bit of placenta inside me, they did not know this at the time, and it did not show up on the scan, so I was pumped full of antibiotics and sent home, a month later, there were bits coming out of me, so I had another scan, and there was the bit of placenta! so I had a d&c, are you sure that all is well internally? it can make you feel very poorly, and then your body starts to have rejection symtoms, hope you feel better soon, :)

  • Mommy cat tells everyone they have ME????? Look I am a doctor and I recommend you go see a rheumatologist, some the symptoms your describing sound autoimmune to me, because you keep loosing you children prematurley and have these recurrent rashes pop up you may need to be checked out for lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, and any number of conditions. Bottom line is I severly doubt this is a vitamin defficiency, and I don't by ME. If you want professional help then look for it, a good place to start for you is a rheumatologist, then possibly a endocrinologist.

  • That's the problem...NONE OF YOU DOCTORS BUY INTO ME...yet it exists...yet there are hundreds on this site with symptoms...you are a doctor...great, I'm a nurse...good for us...coincindental that hundreds have ME sx? coincidental that no dr's can figure any of us out? coincidedntal all of us have been accused of having psych problems...coincidental all of us are hypochondriacs? way too many coincidences for me and several others...I'm currently being tested after ruling out every other possibility...THE SOONER DR'S LIKE YOU REALIZE THAT ME IS FOR REAL, THE SOONER THE REST OF US CAN GET ON WITH OUR LIVES...I do not appreciate the fact that you are dismissing my possibility and using the fact that you are a dr as a way of getting people to listen to you...autoimmune? rheumatoid, Lupus, fibromyalgia is all confused with ME...an Endocrinologist is one of the first doctors that headed in this direction with my case...Good Luck and when it comes back that hundreds, possibly thousands in this country have ME, the I will gladly accept your apology...moomy cat

  • THATS PART OF THE PROBLEM...DOCTORS DON'T BUY INTO ME yet there are 2 million in US...250,000 in UK and 50,00 in Australia...Kind of a coincidence that hundreds on this site have ME sx...kinda a coincidence none of us can get a diagnosis...kinda a coincidence that we all have psych problems, kinda a coincidence we all are hypochondriacs...YOU ARE A DOCTOR AND I AM A NURSE...good for us...I do not appreciate you insinuating that my thoughts are wrong and yours are right just because you are a doctor...it means nothing...we all have been to hundreds if not thousands of doctors collectively and most have your same thought process on the disease...no wonder none of us can get a diagnosis...when you and everyone else realizes that there is either another outbreak of ME or the outbreak of the 80's is rearing it's ugly head...I will kindly accept your apology...I hope you treat your patients with more respect than you just treated me...Have a nice life, Doc...hope you stay healthy and never have to deal with a doctor who won't listen to you...mommy cat
