I have unexpected recurring swelling of my hands, wrists, feet, and ankles. I have seen an RA doctor and he has ruled out rheumatoid arthritis, fibromialga, lyme disease and a long list of ofther causes. He said he is puzzled and has given me narcotic prescriptions for the pain.
I never know when I will wake up with the problem and it leaves as quickly as it come. I might last for one day or several days. I am getting dispondent over taking so many addictive drugs. Can anyone help with a diagnosis, suggestion, remedy?

  • Perhaps a circulation issue? Edema? Something like what happens with people who are in congestive heart failure?
