hiya everyone...well i really do need some help.
on christmas eve-me my mum and dad went out for a meal. we finished the starter's and dad said he was hot.
i told him to go out side and get some air and he tried to move back but began to slip.
he collasped into me and stopped breathing for a few sec's then came back to us.
his eyes rolled and and your could see he was going...we got him onto the floor and he was slightly breathing but had sharp pains just underneath the diaphram.
when we tried to get him up he slipped again...so until the ambulance went he was on the floor for 30-40mins.
he was sick in the ambulance....he was pure white and very grey-he cant remember any of it.

the hospital did a few tests but never found anything. so they let him home.which i werent happy about
2 days later he had a funy turn - but had a banging headache. light sensitive.
this time he's not in the same hospital, and they have done a cat scan because he bumped his head 6months ago..but that was clear.(they thought it was blood vessel's bursting under the skin.)

i cant rememebr what this was called but you will wen i describe it u will. they drained fluided from the bottom of the spine. that was clear.

hes been in hospital since...but what concerns me, is his right foot is very swollen...plus he has around 15 bruises on each foot going up the calve.
there reddish...sum a bit more purpley - but now i just rang him and he said he has a tingiling feeling in his foot. and its swollen more than yest??round the ankle area...going arcoss
he had a accident years ago and had a knee op..cartlige. he had a really odd jump in his leg after and it had a mind of its own.

anyway after the drainage it stopped and so did the headache.

the only thing they found was high cholosteral( sorry its spelt wrong)
but he doesnt smoke, drink hes an ok eater..doesnt eat to much snacks rather than processed.

can anyone help me.....i told the docs about the leg but its been two days and they are busy....which is dispicaple
im getting rather angry to be honest - but im going back there later
and im not leaving til i find a doctor.

oh also if its helpful....he drives a forklift truck. the ground isnt level. and hes been doing it 22 years now. hes 52.
he also has had problems with his back .....slipped disk and always took pain killers to carry on.
please help if anyone has an idea as to what has happened.??

thanks
rebecca

  • :) Good Day, I'm writing from the u.s. where it's 10:00 p.m. I take it that your from england? This experience with your dad, has it happend much in the past? If so, when & under what conditions. From the way in which you describe the event, it sounds like his body is saying to everyone, "I'VE HAD ENOUGH", he's been having these episode's in greater frequentcies, 'no'? Please take him to a qualified health proffesional, that will see that he gets the proper treatment. Your dad is a lucky man to have someone like you. As Always, In His Service.

  • I have high cholesterol too. Mine is genetic according to my doctor. I only weigh just under 100lbs. People of Scandanavian Descend tend to have higher cholesterol also from what I am told. I have some in me how much not sure its on my dad sude. I been having numbness in my arm and hands, and face. They have me on Crestor, have not tested my cholesterol again so not sure if its working. I hope you find out whats causing it. I have had no lucky with my symptoms yet

  • :) Good Morning, i can think of two agents that may aid in correcting any damage done to the bodys natural ability to heal itself. Names of said are, wheat grass & tumeric, i've used the tumeric with fantastic results, the other i've yet to try. Read up on the two & see for yourself. I won't go into a long song & dance about the two, it's just a suggestion. Tank You.

As Always, In His Service.i would like to say - thankyou very much for your kind words hogndog.he came out of hospital yesturday....even though they dont know what happened or whats wrong.my father is never ill....a slight cold n thats it. i am from england and the NHS sucks.the only time he was ever poorly was when i was 12, im now 24.back in 1995 we went on holiday to spain. everyone said he had gastoenteritus.but he did the same thing. i was with him, and he collapsed - he was unconcious for about 5mins. then he came around and was sick.they said it was from eating a green potatoe?my father nearly died there...he was on drips the lot. my mother said he was just about holding on. (hes a strong man) he was sick.but now hes 52 his body obviously cant take the strain.i am quite angry with our NHS...my dad a couple of days ago nearly collasped again in hospital. because the nurse FORGOT to give him his medication. disgracful.they havent a clue still....and we are waiting on a heart monitor result but thats not ready til next week.anyway.....im more worried about my father. i would be so grateful if anyone could help.hes very pale.the only thing he gets is bad headache's very light sensitive. i boooked him a eye test and i went with him(the hospital kept going on saying its his eyes. )just incase its glucoma or something like that i sorted an appointment??but there was absolutely nothing wrong with his eyes????hes been having this stabbing pain just under the breast bone....and he has awful fevers. his tempreture rockets sky high?? also very bad acid reflux.he had a few more bruises come out...around the bicep area. if anyone wants to ask me anything....more questions?? go ahead.my father life is on the line....and these hospital play GOD to our relatives and half of them are not cut out fot the job.THANKYOU xx

  • As far as your dad's legs, ask the doctors about PAD (peripheral artery disease). It can cause blood clots in the legs which travel to the heart and brain. And during the worst cases they have to amputate the lower legs is it's not caught early enough.

  • :D Good Morning; That's not what i expected to hear when i came on line, but then life is full of surprises. Normaly i make suggestions about using herbs & natural remidies such as turmeric, an agent used for a thourough cleansing of the bodys natural defence systems. Today may be different; the first thing i was to do is, search for methods of natural cures, and i feel i found one of interest; http://www.4myheart.com Give it a go & let me know what happens; As Always In His Service.
