In 4 months I have gained 48 pounds, I also suffer from sever stomach pains was diagnosed with H Pylori and had to take medicine for two weeks. Weight still going up, not overeating I write down everything I eat and Doc said with that I should be losing weight. My stomach pains have not gone away, after every meal I feel nauseous and I get chills as well. The tips of my fingers have been getting numb too.

  • have you tried not eating gluten? Just a shot as I have been sick for 40 years and I just found out that that was my problem all along. But now I have the ataxia, numbness, brain damage, etc that goes along with it... On somethings you just have to be your own Doctor and keep picking at them or they will let you die...all my doctors just kept wanting to give me more meds... I knew more meds were not the answer. Less meds. I am now down from 19 pills to 5 pills. Celiacs can cause a whole host of stuff....

  • Please read my thread "Are all these related?" I have very similar problems. I too have H pylori along with chills after eating and staying cold pretty much all the time. I've had some interesting suggestions from people and they might be of help to you.
