I am a 23 year-old female. I have been diagnosed with both pleurisy (not sure of the spelling) and pneumonia in the past few years. In the past 4 months or so, I have had chest pain that worsens with a deep breath. This is often accompanied by fatigue, fever, aches, and other flu-like symptoms. I am also taking an oral contraceptive, and I heard that this can cause lupus or lupus-like symptoms. On a few occasions, I also developed a skin rash from sun exposure. It sounds like lupus to me, but I had a blood test for lupus when I was 18, and it was negative. Is it still possible that I have lupus?Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
