I have always been a kinda lazy teenager. But a couple of months ago , i started to notice extreme fatigue. My joints and muscles and bones aches, espescially in the night. I first associated it with being a teenager and growing up. But then i started to get confused alot and have memory loss. I also have become some what depressed lately for no apparent reason. I also have shortness of breath when ever i do really simple activity. I thought at first that i had asthma, but i don't have the weezing that asthma causes. when ever i do something simple, like making my bed, my lungs burn and i get out of bed. Sometimes, maybe once a week, i get really naueous. I also feel really week all the time. My mom is a nurse, and when ever i try to tell her that i don't feel good, she just tells me all teenagers feel like that. Please help me!

  • I would suggest seeing the doctor immediately. If your mother sees how concerned you really are, she should take you. The shortness of breath may be due to allergies. I just recently developed allergies and sometimes I experience that problem. There may be several reasons why you are experiencing the other symptoms. It does sound like it could be the results of growing, but it is always best to get checked out. Make sure you are getting plenty of rest as that can lead to confusion, memory loss, and fatigue.Lyndsay, Health Advisor

  • From what you said, it is very unlikely that you have cancer. There is no harm in going to a doctor and getting a diagnosis.
