For about 2 years now, on and off i've been feeling really 'out of it'. It feels as if i'm really spaced out all the time and I find it hard to concentrate. I don't feel like this all the time but when I do get these spells they can last for weeks, even months.
Most of the time I feel quite tired and sluggish and I find it hard to get through the day.
I've been to the doctors many, many times and i've been diagnosed with everything under the sun. Ear infections, Cronic Fatigue, Iron diffency, Stress, Eye problems. Most of the time they just try to convince me that there is nothing wrong. When they do try to diagnose me with something it's just what they think MIGHT be wrong with me.
I've even had a head scan which apparently showed that nothing was wrong with me.
I've just been trying to go with just powering through these spells but i've gotten to the point where it just seems it's ruining my life! It affects me at work, affects my social life, and it's stopped me from being able to pass my driving test as I just simply do not feel safe on the road as it's so hard to concentrate.
It's just so hard as no one really knows how much this is affecting me or how exactly I feel. :(

If anyone can help me with any advice or information I will be very very greatful.

thank you.

  • kingjoeim not a doctor but sounds like it could possibly be two of a million things... 1. have you been checked for abnormalities in your thyroid gland? 2. Candida Overgrowth, which can be very difficult to get rid of if its severe to the point its in your blood, dont let the doctors just write you a prescription of flouconazole - read up on this.best of luckjess

  • If you were under severe stress prior to those 2 years, you may benefit from my experience. I had those same symptoms and couldn't work full time for several years. The doctors couldn't help me. They thought it was all in my head. I looked for my own solution and found that I was vitamin B deficient. I felt so much more energetic, not as sleepy, less chills and could concentrate more. But I still felt those symptoms every now and then when I would overdo anything like working too long or exercising. I didn't feel totally normal until I cleaned my body of toxins through Ionspa treatments. I hope this helps you.

Most of the time they just try to convince me that there is nothing wrong. When they do try to diagnose me with something it's just what they think MIGHT be wrong with me. Next time they suggest something which "MIGHT" be wrong, insist on them actually doing tests or sending you to an expert in the field of whatever they think it is who can tell you if it is that or not. If by chronic fatigue you or they were refering to chronic fatigue syndrome... i can tell you right now if that is your only symptom it definately arent that you have. CFS is a multi-complex illness and hence there is a lot of different symptoms all happening at once with that illness (symptom complex). Some doctors very wrongly and naively tell a patient they have CFS when they just dont have a clue what is wrong, when in fact CFS is a serious illness with set diagnostic criteria.
