I am wondering if anyone can help me on this?
I had a baby 6 months ago and had severe pre eclampsia so she was born 4 weeks prematurely. Since then my blood pressure has returned back to normal. Over the last couple of weeks I have been getting a tingling sensation in my hands and arms, along with dizziness (light headedness and feeling a bit spaced out) and feeling really tired even thought I am getting 8 - 9 hours sleep at night.
I have been to see the doctor who says it may be anxiety or an inner ear infection and has given me some some beta- hydro chlorine tablets (I am still breastfeeding) to ease the dizziness, however these dont seem to be working. He has taken a blood sample and the results have come back normal for everything that can be tested and did the usual reflex and following finger tests.
Also from the time the pre-eclampsia occured I have a small blurred patch in my right eye vision - is this related to anything or is it something completely different
I am still concernedAre these symptoms anything I should be worried about?

You should have them check your pituitary gland. You could have a mass (don't worry, usually benign) or something could have been chemically been altered during pregnancy. There are cases of pregnancy causing pituitary issues. Although a good sign is that you are able to breast feed. Please get checked. Find a really good endocrinologist preferably at a research hospital. You should get an MRI and have your ACTH, GH, TSH, FSH, Prolactin, MSH and Cortisol levels checked. Don't mess around with this. Good luck.
