I hope someone out there can give me some peace of mind. One week ago, my 13 month old son died in his sleep. Prior to him going to bed that night, I had taken him to 2 different doctors because his lips and feet were bluish purple. They said his lungs sounded clear and heart sounds were normal. They told me he was mildly cyanotic, but to just keep him warm, and keep an eye on him. When I went to check on him later, he was no longer breathing. So far, the autopsy has revealed nothing obvious, like a collapsed lung or heart abnormality. Has anyone heard of this happening, or is it just possible it was SIDS? I guess I thought SIDS was more only in smaller infants. Can anyone give me any insight as to what might have happened?Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
