For the past few weeks I've had a coming and going discomfort in my left little finger and ring finger. This is particulary notable when typing, like now. I feel it when I press the fingers agains't something, but I cannot find a word for how it feels. It doesn't hurt, but it's very uncomfortable. It is strongest in my little finger, slightly less in my ring finger, and about unnotable(if even present at all) in my middle, index and thumb.
The closest thing I can find is typical tingling and burning sensation, and I guess that's a way to describe it. Some have suggested CTS, but I read that it doesn't affect the little finger, and that's where I feel it the most. My thumb seems to be completely immune from the effect.
It is getting very frustrating and I'm on the brink of seeing a doctor, but I have fear of them and their various inspections and treatments so I've delayed it. But I don't want to go on like this.
I can understand if nobody has a good answer to it, and I guess the best thing for me to do would be to get in touch with a local doctor and face my fears. But believe it or not, that's not always so easy...especially when you've been unfortunate with previous doctors.
