I have been having increasingly severe muscle pain over the last year or two. It started in my legs but has spread to back, arms and even chest. I get muscle cramps, almost like "charlie horses" in my abdomen, legs, arms and chest. I have a long history of arthritis and had a left total hip and two back surgeries. My heart function is good. I have a large knot protruding to the side of my right knee and my right hip, my good hip, has become so painful over the last month that I can barely walk and cannot sleep on my right side. I am on duragesic and vicodin, which does not totally kill the pain or help me sleep through the night. I'm sick of drugs, scared that I can no longer walk (I have used a cane for over 20 years) and want a diagnosis not just treatment of my symptoms. I also have diabetes. I've seen an endocrinologist, an internist, a cardiologist and a gastrointestinal doc. Somebody please help me. The quality of my life has been going downhill rapidly!:(Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
