Diagnosis please?

I've had this strange symptom for awhile now, but never thought anything of it until now. Any time I smell something sour, more notably pickles or salt and vinegar chips, I get a weird feeling in my tongue for a few seconds. Sometimes if I even think about these sour foods I get the feeling as well. I don't think it's anything serious, but I can never be too sure. Any help is appreciated.

  • It's normal, perfectly normal. It's not an illness or a condition. It's your brain remembering how these things feel on your taste buds and tingling in anticipation.
