My husband has been sick for four months now. He has seen several doctors and still has no diagnosis. His symptoms are as follows:

1. SWELLING (WRISTS, KNEES, ELBOWS, ARMS)
2. WEIGHT LOSS
3. LOSS OF APPETITE
4. EXTREME PAIN
5. UNABLE TO SLEEP
6. LUMPS ON HEAD, SHOULDER, HAND (might be nodules)
7. UNABLE TO USE THE BATHROOM
8. SWEATING

He has seen a nurse practitioner, neurologist, chiropractor and occupational medicine/allergy doctor. He has missed weeks of work. Cortizone shot works but symptoms come back. Steroids work but symptoms come back. No other prescription medicine has worked. He has had blood work done & MRI done. He has lost approx 20 pounds.

He is 45 and his occupation is a machinist.

Please help.

  • It sound like a rheumatology issue; maybe a severe type of arthritis.possibly allergic to something. food is usually a first check if he uses nutra sweet or diet anything stop. sometimes dary or nuts can cause allergic reaction. the inflammation suggests the possibility of an allergy. pineapple may help. carrot juice will help remove excess fluids from the body but if he on blood thinners be careful.
