I have been complaining of severe hair loss for years now. Recently I realised that I get exhausted very soon and that my legs ache much more than normal. Also sleeplessness became a growing concern as I was hardly able to sleep for 2 or 3 hours. To make matters worse, in Sep-2008 I started getting panic attacks, specially in my sleep, accompanied with heart palpitations and stiffness of hands and legs. I consulted a doctor and got my thyroid tests done alongwith almost all hormone tests. All reports were normal according to the doctors and they suggested pscychiatric treatment for me. For past 5 months I am on antidepressants .Things are fine at the moment but I am not sure of the diagnosis made for me. I was a very strong person otherwise and I can hardly believe this diagnosis. My TSH was 6.35ulU/ml and Free T4 1.9ng/dl. I want to consult another doctor and get all the tests done but I am apprehensive about the outcome.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
