deteriorated vision after surgery

4 weeks ago, a friend had cosmetic surgery - full face lift and upper eyelids (not lower). Her reading vision is significantly worse. Before she could read the paper fairly well without glasses, now she is completely dependent on glasses to read.
Should her vision get better in time?
One nurse said it was because of swelling, another said that it was the anesthesia, and the doctor hasn't said much.

  • Since no one responded, I'm happy to report that her vision is significantly better.She read on the web that rubbing the eyes would help, and it did. Probably becauseskin was stretching the eyes out of wack.
