a couple months ago my wife started feeling sick with some strange symptoms.
Symptoms are:
- heart pounding like boom boom sounds and the feeling is very unconfortable
-Then immediate weakness. She can't move her entire body and she has to lay down or sleep.

Recently her heart boom boom beat frequency increased dramatically.
- often the beat starts immediately after a meal and sudden weakness and fatique
- When the hearts start beating, she feels as if heat start from her chest spread to her head and then the weakness begins.
-when she bends down to looks for something, she feels exteme dizzeness. She gets easly irritated and feeling of nausea when she searches for something
Her medial history:
she was diagnosed with pituitary gland tumor (non cancer) and she is taking Dostinex (cabergoline)once a week for the past 3 years. She also suffered from bladder infection a couple of times now she is taking Macrobid (antibiotic) for recent infection.

Her doctor is so busy he doens't take time and listen to her symptoms. I have read some info online and most info suggests anaemia, thyroid disease etc but we are confused.
summary of her symptoms:
-loud heart beat ( pounding pulse)
-Extreme weakness after meal
-feeling of heat and excessive sweat
-mild headche (sometimes)
she is 38 years old

Please help

  • I have no idea what is wrong with your wife, but if I was having those symptoms, first I would start drinking cranberry juice daily. Research does prove it prevents bladder infections. My mother use to get a bladder infection once a year. She loves OJ and so started adding a little bit of cranberry juice to her OJ. It helped. Another suggestion: Mix club soda and cranberry juice for a refreshing drink. Second, has your wife been seen by a cardiologist? I would want to rule out any kind of heart problem. I also think a complete work up by an endocrinologist is in order since she did have a problem with her pituitary gland once. You might also want to find a new PCP. The one common trait of every story I hear about people who spend years looking for answers is their doctors do not listen to them. Find one who will listen to you.
