Hi. I need help diagnosing something. Within the last three weeks or so I've noticed a growth of some sort just above the clitoris and at first I thought it was from me shaving and thought I might of cut myself and it didn't heal properly but just this week I've noticed a couple more down there. They kind of look like a flesh colored mole. I'm getting pretty scared and was wondering if anyone could help me.

  • It sort of sounds like condyloma acuminata to me(A venereal wart)caused by human papilloma virus. You need to see a doctor for a definite diagnosis.

  • Warts or possibly ingrown hairs from shaving. Could also be allergic reaction to shaving cream or soap or even laundry detergent. Infection, inflammation of some kind. Hard to say online like this.Did you know that shaving makes you more susceptable/prone to infections and disease?

  • it sounds like warts but if you've never had sex then go to the doctors it could be another condition.

  • But don't you have to be having sex to get that? Because I don't have sex.Let's be clear: you don't have to be currently having sex. You have to have had sex in the past at some point (not a virgin). HPV can lay dormant for a long time, meaning that you could contract the virus and not show symptoms for months or even years! I suggest you go to the doc and get it checked!

  • Could be cysts....glands are easily blocked down there, and shaving, waxing over the years can cause all sorts of skin problems, very unslightly ones too..Best to have your doctor take a look or even a dermatoligist. Samantha http://www.undiagnosedillness.org
