I'm a 24 y-old male and for almost a year now that doctors are trying to diagnose my problem. It's been a while since I start feeling dizziness, some headaches and a mild depressive state. I also have postural and post-prandial hypotension, bradycardia, heat intolerance, tingling in the little hand finger (just left), calve spasms, general fatigue and difficulties in having an erection. I'm on HRT with testosterone supervised by an endocrinologist. My hypogonadism is due to steroid use in the past. I was a bodybuilder and had some experience with drugs. Hormone levels are now on the physiologic range but the symptoms I described didn't get any better. I checked my heart and it's perfect. My kidneys are fine too. My blood work is ok, with just some liver enzymes and CPK a little high. I need a hint please. My quality of life is miserable now.

Kind regards

Kind of sounds like autonomic dysfunction or pots. Maybe even a combonation of both.. people with this disfunction have alot of heat intolerance. What happens to you in the heat??

  • Thank you for your reply. In the heat, specially with high humidity levels, I have my arterial tension drops and I have headaches and general discomfort. I sweat a lot. I haven't seen a neurologist yet. Do you think it could be a cervical lesion? I have no pain. Should I ask for a CT? How can the autonomic function be acessed?

  • POTS thou it does cause many of your symptoms causes episodes of tachycardia (fast heartbeat) rather than bradycardia so i think POTS would be unlikely. (It thou would be possible to have bradycarida with episodes of tachycardia thou with autonomic dysfunction but i dont know if that would be rare or not). As the other poster suggested autonomic dysfunction of some kind is a possibility.. this can cause postural hypotension and other symptoms.
