I have been suffering from dental pain and an earache for almost 5 months. 2 of my teeth have been removed (more than 2 months ago), but the pain has not gone. I have been tested for jaw problems - nothing. many x-rays have been made. I have seen many ENT doctors, dentists, oral surgeons. too.
there is a burning feeling, sometimes it's like needles hurting. it hurts all the time, but I can sleep - that is the only good thing.
Does anybody have an idea where to go now????

  • try acupuncture; it may help a lot.. seems like a good oral surgeon would help, too.. http://www.healthatoz.com/healthatoz/Atoz/common/standard/transform.jsp?requestURI=/healthatoz/Atoz/ency/tooth_extraction.jsp RisksPotential complications of tooth extraction include postoperative infection, temporary numbness from nerve irritation, jaw fracture, and jaw joint pain. An additional complication is called dry socket. When a blood clot does not properly form in the empty tooth socket, the bone beneath the socket is painfully exposed to air and food, and the extraction site heals more slowly.
