Hi, please for YEARS I have struggled with sleep in winter & on cold nights....I go to bed with thermal socks & an electric blanket on....if I don't I wake with a deep aching in my legs...below the knees....I am 33 now & my Mum first remembers it starting when I was a young teenager - she was told by the family doctor it was growing pains, it's not, I only get it when my legs are cold but it annoys me as my upper-body is soooo hot & uncomfortable & my partner finds my side of the bed un-bearable to lie on...If I am out & I am unable to keep my legs warm to prevent the aching I end up having to go home to put myself to bed to ease the aching!? Grrrr It can't be healthy & is driving me nuts. My doctor recently told me not to worry bout it & to just keep wearing socks at night & maybe an extra blanket - there's got to be a medical reason!?Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
