I am a 21 year old female college student. Almost every day for a year I have woken up to feel like I was still sleeping. I am not tired during the day and am not sleepy, but feel constantly in a dream like state. It comes and goes throughout the day but is pretty consistent about being every day.
I make sure to get 7-9 hours of sleep a night. I eat 3 balanced meals a day. No exercise other than walking around campus. 5'11.5'', 160lbs
Don't drink that much water. Thinking my problem could possibly be chronic dehydration.
*Previous Medical History*
Asthma
Diagnosed with ADD at age of 15, taking Adderall XR 40mg every day
Dr. thought this was causing my decreased LOC so I withdrew from college for a
semester and stopped taking Adderall XR. There was temporary increase in LOC but
within days went back to twilight state
CBC performed 7/09. Everything normal except B12 was a tad low. Also tested for thyroid problems and Celiac's disease, tests came back normal.
Have taken sublingual B12. Get instant energy, but effects only last between 1-30
minutes
CT scan, MRI, EEG performed 10/08. Everything came back normal
I am at a loss. I don't know what it could be. A B12 deficiency perhaps? It is affecting ever aspect of my life and is causing me to have difficulties in school. It has been a year. Please, I need help. Any insight or advice is appreciated.
