I lived in Bolivia, S.A. for five years. When I came back I stayed with a relative who had 40-50 cats several dying from parasite infestations. After living there 6 months I felt something move under my skin. I took some medication I had for amebias, and the movement increased. It has been 2 yrs now. I had one small nodule on my upper right leg when I was in Bolivia, and now I have two which are much larger. I have some lose of skin pigmentation, some scaly places, and migration. I have been to numerous doctors that think I have filarisis of some sort, but I do not have a diagnosis. The doctors always do a blood test called an IgG4, but it comes back negative. Can you help?
