Hi, for some time I have suffered from darkness and puffiness under the eyes. I also suffer from stomache aches, a mild / constant headache and get dihorea a couple of times a week. I'm a 24 yo Male, I watch what i eat and are reasonably physically active. I used to drink quite heavily though have cut back and am not experiencing any changes. Any help / advice is greatly appreciated :)

  • Look up Celiac's. Look up Crohn's. Look into general food sensitivities and intolerances. Darkness under eyes can mean you're not absorbing enough nutrients, but also that you aren't getting enough sleep. Make sure you drink plenty of water during the day (headaches can be triggered by even mild dehydration) and try an elimination diet. Personally, I thought I was lactose intolerant for a while, the way I got constipated and had diarrhea, but even eliminating dairy from my diet didn't get rid of it all the way. The first month I went vegetarian (no meat, poultry, fish, but I eat eggs and dairy again) my diarrhea was gone. And I can honestly say I've only had diarrhea like...3 times in the past 2.5 years. My lower GI problems all cleared up. I've never heard of a meat sensitivity, but I don't question what I know to work.

Any help / advice is greatly appreciated :) Hello. When I was younger I used to get severely anemic. I don't have that problem anymore, but I remember that the doctor pointed out to me that the darkness under my eyes was a sign to me that my anemia was acting up. I got so I knew when I had to go to the doctor to get a B-12 injection because it showed in my face, around the eyes. Maybe you should get a blood test to check for anemia?
