I am 26 weeks pregnant. 7 days ago I began having cold-like symptoms (congestion, sneezing, runny nose). Then 3 days ago diarehea, nausea, fatigue, loss of appetite and vomiting added to the list. Now today I am having mid-back pain on the right side and a quite noticeable darkened urine color (not caused by medicine because I haven't taken any). I have been drinking plenty of water, gatorade, orange juice so I don't think I am dehydrated. I am just worried there maybe something going on larger than the individual symptoms indicate and I certainly want to make sure my baby girl is safe and sound in there...Any ideas?

  • Sorry Me again I meant to say I believe you have a Urinary Tract Infection and that the other stuff/symptoms are the many changes that your body will go threw during preg.

  • I don't want to scare you but any time you have blood in the urine it is something that should be investigated right away. The best person is a uroligist. He may suggest a ct scan to rule out a more serious condition. Please don't let any doctor tell you you are to young to have a serious condition. Good luck with your pregancy I'm sure it will be good.

  • Go to your ob and ask to be checked. You could have Group B strep which could cross your placenta. Not often but is becoming more and more common...early labor, etc. Not to scare you but....I delivered 3 preemies and did lots of research on causes. So...just to be safe go and ask for the test.
